This product is an innovative, easy to install device designed for use on residential aluminium sliding windows. It is installed into the top rail of the sliding window and restricts the window from opening at a distance pre-determined by the installer.
The DS255 has a key operated removable body, so it can be removed for emergency egress and for cleaning. It also has the ability to be keyed alike to suit other Doric locking devices, for extra security and convenience. It’s advised that it is used in combination with Anti Lift Blocks and/or other hardware items to meet requirements as set in the National Construction Code.
